EASTOP ARCHITECTS IS AN ARCHITECTURE AND INTERIORS STUDIO BASED IN MELBOURNE, AUSTRALIA. UNDERPINNING THE STUDIO’S WORK IS A FOCUS ON THE PHYSICAL AND EMOTIONAL EXPERIENCE OF ARCHITECTURE. SPATIAL EXPERIENCES ARE CONSTRUCTED THROUGH CLEAR COMPOSITIONAL FORM, THE LAYERING OF LIGHT, TEXTURE AND MASS, AND A VISIBLE DIALOGUE BETWEEN INTERIOR AND LANDSCAPE. MATERIAL PALETTES ARE CONSIDERED AND RESTRAINED, WITH AN EMPHASIS ON MATERIALS THAT EMBODY A SENSE OF INTEGRITY AND PERMANENCE.

Eastop Architects was founded by Liam Eastop in 2017 following his extensive practice experience working on award winning residential, commercial & urban design projects. Liam graduated with a Master of Architecture from Monash University, receiving the ‘Roderick Macdonald Scholarship’ for design excellence and has since spent several years teaching and presenting lectures at both Melbourne University and Monash University.
